Mega Dragonite ex has an ability called Sky Transport, which lets players switch Pokémon without paying an Energy cost.
Mega Froslass ex has an attack that becomes stronger if the opponent has too many cards in their hand.

A Big Change for Competitive Play

Ascended Heroes may have a big effect on competitive Pokémon battles. Another Mega Pokémon, Mega Feraligatr, was revealed earlier and is expected to be extremely powerful. Some of the new Mega Pokémon may become popular choices for serious players who compete in tournaments.

The set is scheduled to release on January 30, making it the first special expansion of the Mega Evolution era.
